Pay – $10.00/hour
Work Hours – Part Time, Nights/Weekends/Holidays
Description:
We are looking for enthusiastic, customer service driven, team players to join our ice rink staff for the 2023-2024 winter season. This position will be SEASONAL and go from late November to mid-January, and will require nights, weekends, and holidays. As an ice rink host, you will assist in the daily operations of our ice rink to ensure a valuable guest experience. Proficient to advanced ice-skating skills are required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to & enforce the rules and safety regulations of David Street Station and the ice rink
- Perform cashier and skate rental duties
- Monitor guests on and off the ice
- Cleaning of facility
- Assisting with event setup and takedown
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proficient to advanced in ice-skating
- Proficient in operating cash register and handling of money
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time (3-4 hours)
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management skills
- Team player and positive attitude
- Reliable mode of transportation to and from work
