Visit Casper Sponsors Free Skating
Thanks to our friends at Visit Casper, our city got a seriously amazing gift this winter season! From January 7th through January 17th, skating at David Street Station was COMPLETELY FREE to the public. You heard that right, admission and skate rentals were free of cost each day and during our Princess & Superhero Skate and Glow Skate events. Additionally, Visit Casper kindly donated radio advertising to David Street Station this winter. After the tough year behind us, this was just what our community needed to brighten spirits and start the new year off right. Visit Casper works tirelessly to ensure that Casper is the place to be and we are more than thankful for their recent contribution to the families who enjoy David Street Station!
Visit Casper provides both visitors and locals with information and opportunities to explore our great city. Showcasing hidden gems, options for indoor and outdoor recreation, and increasing traffic among our restaurants, hotels, and small businesses, Visit Casper highlights all of things that make our city so wonderful. Whether you’re looking for an opportunity to hike, or maybe a slice of history, Visit Casper knows exactly where you can find it. Additionally, their office can assist you in bringing meetings and conventions to Casper, or planning your own memorable trip to Wyoming.
It didn’t take long for us to realize that our mission, and Visit Casper’s mission, are closely aligned. Both organizations want Casper to be full of fun, family friendly entertainment options all year round. This sponsorship meant that many more smiling kids would have an opportunity to skate around the community Christmas tree this winter, which is the best gift we could have given to our patrons. Brook Kaufman, CEO of Visit Casper, added a few of her own words, “David Street Station is such an asset to Casper that we hope everyone has a chance to experience. We were so excited to be able to provide free ice skating as a way to give back to our community this year.”
If you get the chance, make sure to thank the staff at Visit Casper for all they do for our community. We could not do this without them!
