Pay – $12.00/hour

Work Hours –  Part-Time/Nights & Weekends

Description:

We are looking for energetic and self-motivated individuals to join our team for summer 2024. If you are looking for a job that helps bring a community together, this is the place for you! Our summer event staff help in the operations and maintenance of David Street Station through various duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Help setup, work, and tear down events. This includes but not limited to tent setup, tables, chairs, games, barricades, equipment, etc.
  • Shifts will include maintenance of facility including trash clean-up, wiping down of facility, sweeping, mopping, power washing, etc.
  • During events, staff will help in the upkeep of facility, while also help run various activities including games, crafts, and more.
  • Some events will require operating a point of sale system for ticket sales and cash handling.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment or completion of high school and/or college preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to withstand being outside for a extended period of time.
  • Must be able to perform labor based duties such as pushing, pulling, lifting, cleaning.
  • Must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude.
  • Familiarity of the mission and operations of David Street Station.
  • Experience with operating a point of sale system and cash handling.
  • Strong work ethic.
