July is Packed With Fun

Both the sun and the events are heating up at David Street Station this summer. As July begins, we are excited to continue on with our Summer Series events, festivals, and the newly routed Central Wyoming Fair and PRCA Rodeo Parade.

Each year, the Central Wyoming Fair and PRCA Rodeo Parade winds its way through Downtown Casper and this year has been rerouted to start at David Street Station. Take a look at the new route and scope out where you will enjoy this year’s parade!

The Hilltop Bank Splash Pad continues to be open each day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.  Set in the perfect location, you can enjoy any event on the Brian Gamroth Community Stage while keeping an eye on your little ones as they play in the cool water.

Monday afternoons you can count on Lunch on the Lawn sponsored by Casper College. Grab and Go Gourmet has $4 and $9 lunch options that are perfect if you decide not to bring your own. Artisan Alley will help you get creative with a small project with Artisan Alley and our first ever Bubble Fest on July 1st, the National Geographic GIANT map returns July 8th, Rising Star Tumbling & Dance Studio will entertain you and teach you to dance on July 15th, and Cheer Camp takes over on July 22nd.

Tuesday evenings are reserved for the Food for Thought Summer Markets, sponsored by WCDA. Local produce, products, and people fill the Station. Take a break with the live music and enjoy supporting local businesses and vendors.

Wednesdays are family fit days at David Street Station with the addition of Wellness Wednesdays from the Casper Family YMCA that offer two classes each Wednesday. Family Game Night every other week will help you and your family learn a new sport or activity while staying active.

Cinema at the Station on select Friday evenings just got a whole lot sweeter with sponsor Memorial Hospital of Converse County. Look for their booth at each event which will include showings of How to Train Your Dragon and Trolls in July.

When a movie is not playing on a Friday night, you will likely find a concert during the Summer Concert Series brought to you by Hilltop Bank. Casper’s Zachary Schommer will revisit the David Street Station as he opens for another Wyoming favorite the Jalan Crossland Band on July 12.

Art Walk on July 6th, the Downtown Balloon Festival  on July 20th and the Blues and Jazz Festival on July 27th  will truly round out the entertainment options in July!
