2019 University of Wyoming Pep Rally
Rain or shine, (trust us: we know from experience) University of Wyoming fans show up and show out! That’s why, after an exciting Pep Rally last year, we are bringing the brown and gold back to David Street Station on June 20th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for Casper’s Official University of Wyoming Pep Rally, sponsored by the McMurry Companies and The McMurry Foundation!
We hope seeing the UW football scrimmage at Natrona County High School in April pumped you up to meet more of the athletes that we are proud to support. We have a packed schedule starting with UW Highlight Videos of our amazing Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls.
Then, at 6:00 p.m. the National Anthem will be played and the Casper Children’s Chorale will reprise their rendition of Cowboy Joe that will be sure to keep you on your feet.
If you attended last year, you know that coaches from men’s and women’s sports will pump you up for the coming seasons along with the Western Thunder Marching Band and the University of Wyoming Cheerleaders. A few new faces have joined the athletic department this year and we are excited to have them with us! Rally attendees will hear from: Interim UW President, Neil Theobald; Director of Athletics, Tom Burman; Football Head Coach, Craig Bohl; Women’s Basketball Coach, Gerald Mattinson; and Men’s Basketball Coach, Allen Edwards.
There will be giveaways happening throughout the rally and you will have an opportunity to meet some of your favorite players and coaches following the event for photos and autographs. Pack your chairs or blankets for the lawn (and an umbrella just in case!) and don’t forget to wear your brown and gold! Food and drink will be available for purchase.
David Street Station is #WhereCasperComesTogether, and we can’t wait to meet you here!
