Thank You WCDA and Casper College!

This summer was a whirlwind of amazing events. Two of those series of events, Lunch on the Lawn and the Food for Thought Summer Market, would not have been possible without our steadfast sponsors, Casper College and the Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA).

WCDA is no stranger to community involvement. In fact, with “community” as part of their name, they are a well-known resource center for homebuyers and homeowners alike. Helping people finance their first home has been their mission from the beginning and showing people how great Wyoming is comes naturally.

Last year, WCDA came on to sponsor the Food for Thought Summer Market so that people could get a taste of how wonderful of a community we live in. The market provides local produce, local products, and helps local businesses strut their stuff.  The WCDA fulfills their mission to bring people home, but also helps them create a wonderful life where they choose to live.

Not unlike the WCDA, Casper College helps to foster a family-friendly community by sponsoring Lunch on the Lawn each Monday throughout the summer. Enabling young artists, actors, actresses, dancers, and more, Casper College gave each of those performers a place to share their passion with all of the patrons of David Street Station on the Brian Scott Gamroth Community Stage.

Casper College has been helping post-secondary learners excel since 1945 when they became Wyoming’s first junior college. Their reach goes beyond the classroom as they continue to enrich both students and community members.

Thank you to both the WCDA and Casper College for their continued support of our local entrepreneurs, performers, and David Street Station, #WhereCasperComesTogether
